This Chicken Alfredo Monkey Bread is a savory, cheesy pull-apart bread perfect for sharing. Made with tender shredded rotisserie chicken, rich Alfredo sauce, and a blend of mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses baked inside soft pizza dough balls, this dish is an irresistible crowd-pleaser ideal for dinner or appetizer.

Ingredients

Pizza Dough and Seasoning

  • 2 tubes (13.8 ounces each) pizza dough
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced

Cheese

  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded, divided
  • 2 cups parmesan cheese, grated, divided

Chicken and Sauce

  • 2 cups rotisserie chicken, shredded, divided
  • 1 cup alfredo sauce, divided

Instructions

  1. Preheat and prepare pan: Preheat your oven to 375°F. Lightly spray a large bundt pan with cooking spray and set it aside to prepare the dough.
  2. Cut and ball dough: Cut the pizza dough into ½-inch pieces. Roll each piece into a small ball and place them all into a large mixing bowl.
  3. Coat dough balls: Add olive oil, Italian seasoning, minced garlic, ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese, and ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese to the dough balls. Use your hands to gently toss and coat each dough ball evenly with the seasonings and cheese.
  4. Layer ingredients in bundt pan: Begin layering in the bundt pan: sprinkle ½ cup mozzarella cheese and ½ cup Parmesan cheese first. Add half of the coated dough balls, followed by 1 cup of shredded chicken and ½ cup of Alfredo sauce. Then, sprinkle another ½ cup mozzarella and ½ cup Parmesan, followed by the remaining dough balls, remaining chicken, and rest of Alfredo sauce. Finally, top with the remaining ½ cup mozzarella and ½ cup Parmesan cheese.
  5. Bake the monkey bread: Place the bundt pan in the preheated oven and bake for 50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cheese has melted beautifully.
  6. Cool and serve: Remove the bundt pan from the oven and invert it carefully onto a large serving plate. Allow the bread to cool for 5 minutes before pulling apart and serving warm.

Notes

  • Use fresh shredded rotisserie chicken for maximum flavor and convenience.
  • Make sure to coat the dough balls evenly to ensure each bite is flavorful.
  • Let the monkey bread cool briefly to prevent burns and help it hold its shape when inverted.
  • Try serving with extra Alfredo sauce or marinara for dipping.
  • If desired, add chopped parsley or basil on top for garnish and added freshness.
